This collection includes my newest songs and collaborations. I was fortunate enough to get to work with some wonderful people on the collabs - my long time friend Jim, Lana J. Albert.
Jim and I played together over 30 years ago, and jammed whenever we got together since then. So fare we've done 2 of my songs, "Without You" and "Sometime Sunday". We're currently working on 2 of Jim's songs, "Ol' Fashioned Love Song" and "Slugs". He's waiting on me to get my end done.
I also added some guitar to a song by Lana J. Albert, "Yesterday's Betrayal" (thanks Lana!). She writes incredible, emotive songs that receive tremendous accolades, and she's a very kind and generous soul to boot.
Besides the collabs, I have got my newest songs posted here. I call this collection a CD, but for years now it's been more of a staging area waiting for me to get enough songs done of a similar nature that I feel like putting on a more formal collection. For example, Gutwrench is mostly guitar jam type songs whereas 6 Pound Bone has more singing oriented songs. In fact, I may revise the Gutwrench collection, replacing the 2 vocal songs with different songs since I put Stoned Cold and Hungry and RAMbunctious on 6 Pound Bone too. I did that because I needed to get it to Statue before Christmas and I wanted only my songs on it so I didn't have to try to get the legals worked out with anyone else for collabs.
